Fantasy and dreams aroused in my sleep...

*Sigh* (this is a long and good sigh). Every night I yearn to dream about something queer and unique, and they always turn out so fascinating, besides, I never much have any nightmares in every 5 years. The dreams are much deeper and make as if Alice in Wonderland's dream seem like real life. They are so hard to draw out, even as to talk of them in detail. It's strange though, most people do not remember their dreams easily, and to remember them, they will most probably have to jot them down immediately after they wake up. I, however, don't need to do that. Anyway if you are asking why I bother remembering my dreams, it's because I can use them as plots for fantasy writing (if I ever am going to be a writer or a playwriter). Some dreams may not fit into the fantasy world but they are just amazingly beautiful to keep in the memory. Some dreams make me seem nonchalant and wander about in the wood seeming as if like an empty spirit. Others make me feel like a orphan, moving in and out of every one's ways and that no one cares for me. Somehow, few dreams have made me like an important or a useful person. There are a few types of dreamlands I encounter with every night.

  • The sacred place where I nearly always find myself alone within a vast land, full of nature.
  • The place where everything and everywhere merge into one bizarre world and I always find myself in confusion and fear of what may happen.
  • An ancient world that has full of beauty and wonder, yet every soul cared only for itself as though their compassion for others were in a deep slumber. There were Greece, Mayan , Romanian times and places that were combined.

When all these are formed together into my dreams, I find myself flitting in and out of each setting. Weird, isn't it?

The Teenage Rebellious Stage

Alright, so I know how bad I am, why it seemed so easy to say I would never rebel against whosoever whom I respect when I was younger. I never saw it coming, the teenage rebellious stage, I never dreamt that I would admit it. It really is just so scary how stupid and rebellious my attitude was when I talked back to my parents and my siblings. It's cruel when it seemed that everyone despised me for being childish. If you love, honour and respect your loved ones, you wouldn't even refuse to say that you are wrong (even if you are correct) when they scold you for whatever you've done. That's being mature. Be mindful when you have started talking back at your parents. That's how it started for me. Nowadays I cry alone about how 'spiky' and rebellious I became to my family. I felt really bad and I pray that I'll change for the better and be less rebellious.

Sibs

Siblings, oh siblings, I love my siblings, they are better and more special than friends. But how and why is it that I always seem so unkind, inconsiderate, spiteful and etc. though I claim to love them as siblings? After quarrels, I always cry in my heart and ask why I had to blabber out words that would tear the bonds of my siblings and I. Sometimes I wished that I would never talk anymore. As I grow up, I notice that my siblings really care about me, they may be harsh with me but it's called "hard love". It also turns out that I am quite bad (you know about not respecting them and all that) to them. I suppose I also did a number of bad things to them when I was younger (tearing, colouring and taking their stuff without permission). I could've been better and closer to them. I recently start to realise (about 2 years ago) that they were humorous, gracious and so cool (the REAL cool, not physically), etc. They are just so GREAT! I thank GOD for being born into this family. GOD BLESS!

Coel

Some of you may know my name as you read through my entire Blog. That name is official in the world, however I do not use it here anymore. Thus using the name "Coel". It just came to mind when I wanted to change my identity as not to worry my Mom. I guessed it could help in some ways, you know and all that. But then again, it seems quite too late, I won't tell you why, smart ones know it all. As for "Coel", I don't know how I got it in my mind, but what really matters to me is knowing if it is a unisex name. It's a bit like "Joel" and "Cole" (King Cole). When I researched for "Coel", there wasn't anything about it, instead the referred it to King Cole, a legendary King. Anyway, the name's unique and just perfect to me. GOD BLESS!

Here's one for you.

One of Jon Tickle's common qoutes is"Here's one for you..." and then he rattles off some questions that we most probably didn't think of. There was once he said, "Here's one for you, were aeroplanes created before paper aeroplanes or vice versa?" One of this days I simply must research for the answer, or if anyone knows, please do tell me.

Battle of the sexes-1

If men think that women are weaker than them physically, women also have their own strength too. They can remember more things than guys do. In the experiment, the man was assumed to remember things like screwdrivers and helmets and the woman was assumed to remember things like a teddy bear and a cloth. Surprisingly, this was not the case, the woman even remembered somethings like a bottle of chemical and the screwdriver. For the guy, he certainly didn't remember cuddly things and even things like the chemical bottle. Strange huh?

Fishy isn't it?

Exams are coming nearer and you want to get smarter, what can you do? Start eating fish! From fish fingers to smoked salmon to fish roe and many more varieties, your IQ will be higher.

Hey stubby!

Out of cream shaver and you are irritated by stubble on your face in the morning? What's the best D.I.Y. cream shaver if you have no time to get a new one then? Should it be the:

  1. Tomato ketchup------- Totally bloody looking, you don't want to scare your housemates do you?
  2. Whip cream------- Sweet, but does it help much?
  3. Peanut Butter------- Sticky and troublesome with the peanut bits.

Although you may get a few cuts, the peanut butter works best.

Who's better, left-handlers or right-handlers?

The majority of us, right-handlers, would think that the right hand is definately the winner. However in the long run, the left hand is better. Brainiac scientists have done an experiment, getting 2 people to use opposite hands to race each other by crossing obstacles involving the use of their hands. I don't know why but that's the way it is.

What's Britain's most squirty food/sauce?

My, I'm not too sure if there's such a word called squirty. By the way, I don't know what the most squirty food/sauce in the world is, only in Britain. I got the fact from "Brainiac: Science Abuse" which originates from Britain.

Take your guess:
  1. 1 packet of tomato sauce
  2. 1 carton of orange juice
  3. 1 small milk package
  4. Yogurt/custard
  5. 1 bottle of chocolate milkshake

If you picked no.1, you are wrong, the most squirty food/sauce in Britain is no.4! Quite true though I thought it was no.1.

What happens when you put a handphone in a microwave?

Well most of us should know the results....
The whole microwave explodes along with the handphone! Needless to say.

Hmmm... what's the best word to say when taking a photo?

Any idea what it is? Well, you can say "cheese", "karma" or "cheers" if that's the way with you.
But what comes of you when you say:
Cheese------- Gives you the best smile you can ever have!
Karma------- Weird smile... looks like a lunatic, seriously.
Cheers------- Murderous smile, had better not look too suspicious.

The largest type of trees on Earth

The largest type of trees on Earth is the Giant Sequoia Redwood tree ( Sequoiadendron giganteum ). Another name the tree has been referred to is the 'Stafford Giant.' The oldest of this type of tree found is around 5000 years old. This massive evergreen tree is as heavy as 10 whales. Pardon me if I'm wrong, but this was what I heard on the documentary, Planet Earth. They grow to an average height of 50-85 m (150-280 ft) and 5-7 m (16-23 ft) in diameter. Record trees have been reported to be 93.6 m (307 ft) in height and 8.85 m (29 ft) in diameter. Sequoia bark is fibrous, furrowed, and may be 60 cm (2 ft) thick at the base of the columnar trunk. It provides significant fire protection for the trees. The leaves are evergreen, awl-shaped, 3-6 mm long, and arranged spirally on the shoots. The seed cones are 4-7 cm long and mature in 18-20 months, though they typically remain green and closed for up to 20 years; each cone has 30-50 spirally arranged scales, with several seeds on each scale giving an average of 230 seeds per cone. The seed is dark brown, 4-5 mm long and 1 mm broad, with a 1 mm wide yellow-brown wing along each side. Some seeds are shed when the cone scales shrink during hot weather in late summer, but most seeds are liberated when the cone dries out from fire heat and/or insect damage. Wood from mature Giant Sequoias is highly resistant to decay, but is fibrous and brittle, making it generally unsuitable for construction. From the 1880s through the 1920s logging took place in many groves in spite of marginal commercial returns. Due to their weight and brittleness trees would often shatter when they hit the ground, wasting much of the wood. Loggers attempted to cushion the impact by digging trenches and filling them with branches. Still, it is estimated that as little as 50 percent of the timber made it from groves to the mill. The wood was used mainly for shingles and fence posts, or even for matchsticks. But nowadays, the main uses are tourism and horticulture.
