I just am so thankful to GOD that I got good grades for all my subjects overall. Sometimes I really felt like giving up and just get tuition for my Chinese and Geography. However, I had FAITH in GOD that revising on my own was good enough. I can't stand tuition unless I really need it. My grades were low mostly because I didn't know how to apply my knowledge and I was especially careless. My geography teacher, a middle-age man, was extremely stingy with the marks. Well, the world can't help it, anyway I did my best for everything. For my mid-year exam, I was glad that the English paper was quite easy on the whole. The Geography paper was a bit tough but I pulled through. The Chinese paper was relatively easy for the first part which was writing 2 compositions but the worse of all, I did not really complete the second part which was the comprehension. I expected the comprehension to be easier...oh well. The Math paper was extremely easy and smooth sailing except for a hitch or two. The Science paper was like 'ok ok you know except that 2-3 marks are gone'. Now I just hope that I will get all A1s and that my Home Economics paper is super easy. Life's so good no matter what happens.Praise the LORD man!!!

MP3 player
I give up! I am so not going to get an MP3 player(i river rox!) as a birthday present, I'd get it next time when the technology improves much better and I'm sticking to CD player for now. I actually long for a telescope but it's too expensive, I can buy a few MP3 players with that money. After all, I need to concentrate on my studies though some times I say I need music to study. My parents said it was best to get it later when technology improves. By then, I think there will be something better than MP3 players and MP3 players will just be as bulky as CD players.

Weird dream...
Last night I had this dream that went like this:
I transformed into an old British lady and went up a bus. Next to me sat a Japanese guy who was in his late teens. He held a pair of shoes that were made of chocolate. He left them behind and went off. Things were so vague that I just chased after him...I went on another bus that waited for me. Without any address, I went into a chocolate shop. Before that, I saw a bunch of primary students carrying white chocolate mushrooms standing at the doorway of the shop. In the shop which had Christmas decorations I found my husband(also very old and British looking)there. I saw the Japanese guy and passed him the pair of shoes. With one last bit, my so called husband became marble, either that or white chocolate and I guess I 've eaten him or left him there.

Names
Some names are just so beautiful in the sense that they:
- Have a very nice sound when saying or hearing it.
- Have a deep meaning of what it's about.
- They stand for something auspicious.
- They come from the Bible.
and so on...
However, the name 'Janice' is not anything like the above I should think, instead, it is another word for 'Jane'. In any case, I am indeed very thankful that I have a name and that people around me don't really make fun of it although a handful of my friends call me 'Ja nice'. It certainly is wonderful to have a name at any cost.
